Gauge: Ghost Stories Chart repeat (22 sts x 41 rnds) = 3.75” / 9.5cm x 6”/ 15cm. Ribbing (2x2): 28 sts and 32 rnds = 4”/ 10cm. Communication via email (melissa@melissakdesigns.com). Please do not send important questions via chat or yarnpond messages, though you are welcome to chat with each other in the testing chat room. Yardage used: my hope is that 2 skeins can make 2 cowls, so this is very important. Completion of project by the deadline, including clear pictures posted on your Ravelry project page or emailed to me. Patience. My mental health fluctuates and I cannot always respond immediately or in an otherwise timely fashion. Please have another WIP on hand to keep you busy. (This is the primary reason why the deadline is flexible.) While I love an enthusiastic test knitting group, it can cause me to miss important pattern questions and problems that are posted in the group chat. I encourage you to share pictures, progress updates, colorway inspirations, and conversations in the yarnpond chat, and post your questions and corrections as comments in the Google doc of the pattern. Feedback regarding clarity and accuracy of pattern.

All testers who complete this cowl and post clear pictures by the deadline will receive the final pattern upon publication in September, as well as another pattern of their choice from my Ravelry shop (Melissa Kemmerer). Any additional cowls completed and shared in Ravelry projects by the deadline will earn additional pattern compensation. For example, if you knit and share photos of three cowls by the deadline, then you will receive three patterns of your choice, plus the Ghost Stories Cowl pattern. Emma's Yarn is offering 20% off to test knitters.
