Job type | Test knit |
Description | You could call “Unbroken top” a sister design for “Broken rib top”. They both have the same construction and the same ruffle sleeve, only this time when talking about “Unbroken top” we are looking at lots of stockinette stitch, bigger needles, and a bit drapey fabric. This top is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up, the body is started with a provisional cast on and continued in a relaxing stockinette stitch. The body is worked in the round-up to the armholes, where the front and back are separated and worked flat. At front top has V-neck. Sleeves are picked up around armholes and worked with German short rows, to create a ruffled little sleeve. The neckline and bottom hem are finished with an I-cord bind-off. I will be sending pattern to test knitters in parts. When the first section will be finished, the test knitter needs to send me a picture with the update and then they will receive the next pattern part! |
