Diamonds and Lace Scarf

This lace scarf is made from less then 350 yards of worsted-weight yarn.  So, it's perfect to use up those orphan one or two skeins that are left over after making a sweater!  It's thick and warm, and, is perfect for showing off self-striping or long colour change yarns, but will work up just fine in a solid or tonal as well!

The sample is shown using Wisdom Yarn Poems in "Enchanted Forest" which is sadly now discontinued.   Any aran or worsted-weight wool blend would substitute well. 

The scarf is fully charted and has full written instructions.

Note that gauge is flexible for this pattern, though it will change the appearance and/or size of the finished object. Also, the sample was knit using almost all three skeins of the recommended yarn. Please note that if you are a loose knitter, or are enlarging the pattern in anyway, you may require an additional skein of recommended yarn.

This pattern also has an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software.  This option includes the written instruction -- message me if you would like to test the large-print/accessible version!
 

One Size Available, 12.5 inches (31.5 cm) by 62 inches (157.5 cm)  Length and Width can be adjusted, if desired.

• you will use your own yarn, but get to keep the finished object. As well, you will get a final copy of the finished pattern for your own use.
• You will not share or distribute the pattern PDF.
• You will be able to complete the test by the deadline posted.
• If circumstances come up and you cannot complete the test by the deadline posted, you will notify me as soon as possible.
• You will post any errors or other issues you encounter with the pattern to the testing thread.
• If you are altering the pattern to your own preferences, please post to the chat thread, or message me here on YarnPond to confirm. I don’t usually mind alterations, but I do have to make sure that the elements of the pattern I need tested are being tested.
• I would like to have feedback posted the chat once every two weeks, minimum, please. That feedback does not have to be elaborate, it can even be ‘I haven’t touched this since last time’.
• Finished Projects should include a photograph. While I would prefer modeled photos (if applicable), this is not an absolute requirement. I may ask for your project photograph to be featured on social media, if I like it, but that is not a requirement of my testers.
• Testers should fill out the feedback questions when they have completed their project.
• You may create a project page on Ravelry at any time you wish. Once the pattern page goes live (I will post to the testing thread to indicate that), please link to the pattern if you have not used the Ravelry testing code
