Farmhouse Gingham Plaid Placemat

This crochet pattern uses two strands of yarn to create the plaid affect, blending the colors perfectly.

100% it's durable, light and airy.  

If you don't like or don't have access to I Love This Cotton, I've listed various yarn subs in the pattern.

Because the yarn is doubled and I Love This Cotton is a very light worsted despite listing itself as a worsted, I recommend using a 3-weight yarn in replacement or a similar type worsted weight 100% cotton like Eco Cotton.

11" (27 cm)  tall x 17.5" (44.5 cm) wide.

This may vary depending on your tension and the yarn you choose - try to match the gauge to get these dimensions.

This is an intermediate pattern as it involves color changes.  The stitches used are listed and described in detail in the pattern - basic stitches + one more advanced but SUPER easy to learn stitch.

Other than that, once you get started - it goes easy.
